We're approaching the home stretch in basketball this week and the coaches couldn't be more proud of the teams.
Think about it: just months ago, who knew what a "Sandwich Defense" meant? What about "boxing out?" But now these terms, and many others, are part of our teams' basketball vocabulary.
With only a handful of games remaining, it's time to put that basketball vocabulary to some real testing. Players, let's see you show your coaches that you know how to hoops the right way: box out, dribble with your eyes up, hold your triple-threat position, shuffle your feet, follow through on your shot and find the open player.
And let's not simply "say" we are going to do this things, let's "show" we know how to do those things by actually "doing" them.
